土瓜灣道239號益豐大廈，凌晨1時許，大廈一間劏房女住客外出，疑因未有關上煮食爐具，致失火冒出濃煙，女住客剛好返回上前查看，惟劏房已冒出火光，她於是與鄰居立刻逃生及報警，消防員趕至現場，開喉入內射水灌救，終將火勢救熄，無人受傷，大廈逾百名居民一度疏散。
