【本報訊】一方水土一方米，隨着馳名香港的元朗絲苗米種失傳，本土靚米無蹤。曾做的士司機的倫國輝，從廣西和台灣引入十款稻米種子，希望以十年時間，培育出適合香港水土和氣候的稻米。在南涌的稻田耕作三年，每次收成留下最好米種再種植，稻田規模預計明年增加一倍。十年留一種，倫國輝指培育米種旨在傳承本地農業，「我唔再種，都可以留低畀其他人」。
