【本報訊】的士近年屢傳出拒載、濫收車資等事件，政府開始研究推出優質的士，回應市民訴求，引起的士業界不滿。推動的士發展聯會出新招反擊，下周試行「的士攝錄錄音監控安裝計劃」，首階段共10部的士裝上監控鏡頭，對準車廂拍攝司機和乘客情況，日後若接獲投訴也有片可查。聯會期望一年內有2,000部的士響應。
