吉兰丹州副周五大臣莫哈默阿玛日前接受KiniTV及《当今大马》专访时说：“对我来说，砍别人的手，并不算不人道，医生也砍别人的手手脚脚的。为什么？这是为了拯救生命。所以当我们砍掉小偷的手时，我们也是在保护社会。为了多数人，我们必须牺牲掉一个人。”
