在今天下午宣布的2020年财案中，财长宣布，明年起政府将拨款50亿令吉作为生活援助金，受惠人士扩大到110完名40岁以上、月入少过2千令吉的单身人士。
另外，18岁以上的残疾人如果月入少于2千令吉，也可领取。他们将通过MySalam自动获得每月300令吉的援助金。
