【本報訊】獲政府注資2.5億元的盛事基金，被審計報告批評監管混亂，揭發獲贊助的多項盛事涉及多筆糊塗賬，涉嫌利益衝突和虛報資料等，報告更揭露廉政公署早於2010年，認為盛事基金無必要繼續運作，但政府「懶理」，在2012年向立法會財委會申請加碼注資該基金時，以有關資料「不重要」為由，隻字不提。有立法會帳目委員會委員質疑政府隱瞞。
