卫生部总监诺希山表示，目前新冠肺炎的传染值R0已经下降至0.3，但如果人民没有注意防疫，疫情则可能会在6月反弹。

诺希山在记者会上表示，“如果传染值（R0）提高到1.6，意味着我们处于危险水平。意思是，我们会有病例爆发，并预料可能会在6月中旬发生。”

诺希山也说，如果人民注意防疫，则大马可以继续压低疾病的传染值，最终令新冠肺炎在大马绝迹。
