【本報訊】過去一年，法院處理公民廣場案終極上訴、反新界東北發展案等政治敏感案件，令法官屢受抨擊；律政司在UGL案中不檢控前特首梁振英，更令外界憂慮香港司法獨立受衝擊。終審法院首席法官馬道立昨於法律年度開啟典禮致辭時，再次為司法獨立發聲，除嚴厲批評詆毀及人身攻擊法官完全不能接受，並強調法官獨立性，不會偏幫，亦不會尋求中間方案來解決政治及經濟問題，法庭除處理法律議題就「別無其他」。
