近日部分的中五、中六生正式复课， 部分的华校在校内设立了喷雾式消毒通道。卫生部总监诺希山在星期五的新冠肺炎疫情汇报会上针对使用喷雾式消毒通道的安全性作出了回应。
诺希山向媒体表示，新冠肺炎在患者体内，仅针对表层进行消毒的喷雾式消毒通道并无何临床证据证明能有利且能有效地保护使用者。
“我们担心用于喷射在使用者身上的化学剂会对皮肤、眼睛等造成刺激，甚至可能引发哮喘病患者在通过消毒通道时病发。”
"所以我们并不鼓励使用喷雾式消毒通道。”
