賣酒新法例今日起生效，規定不能向未成年人出售或供應令人醺醉的酒類，違者最高罰款5萬元，法例只針對賣家，買家不會被檢控。法例上，「令人醺醉的酒類」是指酒精含量高過1.2%的飲品，故葡萄酒、啤酒以至煮食米酒均受規管，而以酒類烹調的食品如酒心朱古力、醉雞等可獲豁免。
