虽然公正党副主席拉菲兹强调，公正党政治局已开会讨论制造波德申补选，但是阿兹敏阵营的祖莱达却质疑，这项行动违反党内民主和透明。
祖莱达发文表示，“由公正党候任主席安华一手创办的公正党更须秉持最高的透明和民主。但一些领袖却做了被视为肤浅的行为，因为没有使用正确管道，来决定腾空波德申国席给安华上阵。”
祖拉达也促请安华出面澄清，避免人民混淆，以为党被特定群体操纵。
