【本報訊】過往嚴重車禍頻生的大埔新娘潭路，昨凌晨又有一對男女駕乘私家車出事，他們駛經該路近涌背一左彎落斜時，懷疑光頭胎引致跣胎失控狂飆30米鏟上行人路，右邊車身猛撞路邊燈柱，全車V字形凹陷變成廢鐵，男女事主雙雙被困，需由消防員剪車救出，司機命危，女乘客身受重傷。<br/>記者：謝志輝 黃江奇 簡明恩 周鴻熙
