首相马哈迪今天首次主持内阁会议后召开记者会宣布，所有部长减薪10%。
马哈迪说，“内阁同意，所有部长将会减薪10%，以便展现我们关心国家财务问题。”
“我们是减少基薪10%，我们也不会提高部长的薪水。”
