冼都铁道村140户居民因为杨忠礼集团购买铁道村地段而面临逼迁风波，正当双方还在为赔偿条件争执之际，当地再爆出一宗悲剧。一名妇女因为接送孩子放学，不小心被建立在当地的杨忠礼集团石灰厂的罗里撞上而丢命。峇都区国会议员蔡添强星期三质疑石灰厂的安全性，并要求石灰厂暂停营运，直到有关当局完成调查。
