蘋果箱，相信很多人都聽過，電影片場中極之常見，多數用來墊高身形較為矮小的演員，以及疊高器材方便拍攝。高度比Apple Box小一倍的叫作Half，比Half再小一倍的木箱就是Pancake，而導演麥曦茵就最喜歡用Pancake「加位」：「大家成日以為Apple Box同導演冇咩關係，但佢對導演嚟講有好大作用，當你喺現場冇位坐，Pancake就係你朋友。」
