乘飛機到香港轉跨境巴士到惠州的韓國男子，昨被確診為中東呼吸綜合症（俗稱新沙士）患者，為內地首宗個案。廣東省疾控中心表示，該名患者仍有高燒症狀，最高體溫達39.5℃，相信亦有感染性肺炎，由於他曾到過多個地方，當局不排除會有第二宗新沙士個案。
