【本報訊】近月本港掀單車熱，前有熱血單車電影《破風》播映，後有下月旅發局舉辦首屆單車節公路賽，首度開放青馬大橋供比賽，吸引不少新手參賽，掀新一輪公路單車換車潮，售價近12萬的破風公路單車剛落地即被掃走。有前港隊單車手指，部份參加者由爬山車改騎公路單車，需留意公路單車把手、制動系統及輪胎跟爬山車不同，免在比賽中生意外。
