全港第5間Apple Store進駐沙田新城市廣場(New Town Plaza)，為新界區首間蘋果分店。新店於昨晨10時開幕，雖然全店只佔一層，亦非蘋果店傳統「玻璃屋」設計，仍吸引一玩果迷到場朝聖，門外出現長長的人龍排隊。顧客入場時店員高呼NTP(New Town Plaza)，情緒高漲。
