《十年》獲金像獎最佳電影餘波未了，曾批評其劇情「屈中央」的經民聯立法會議員梁美芬再發表「偉論」，昨於港台節目《城市論壇》指，《十年》既然討論未來，以為會有「學生踩roller（滾軸溜冰）返學」的畫面，批評它只是套政治宣傳片，結果被多名電影人圍攻，影評人舒琪直指梁視《十年》為科幻片，「係我第一次聽到最科幻嘅說法」。
梁美芬昨於論壇上稱，電影應反映未來，「我睇過《Intern》（見習無限耆）同《 I, Robot》（智能叛變），我期待嘅《十年》會唔會係啲學生全部踩roller返學呢？或者講政治亦有未來嘅感覺呢？」主持隨即問梁是否以為《十年》是科幻片，質疑她錯誤理解該戲。
