PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has defended DAP, which he described as being blamed for the country’s problems.
Anwar said that at the Federal Territories PKR convention on Saturday, adding that many of the accusations against the Pakatan Harapan ally from Malay-Muslim critics have no basis.
Meanwhile, Anwar, who is also Port Dickson MP, said there is a need for the government and Pakatan Harapan leaders to address the concern raised by DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng that the party had fallen victim to the "deep state".
Anwar also reminded leaders to be fair and not to give out assistance to only selected individuals and called on the leaders including those with ministerial posts to give assistance to all parties as a show of appreciation of their support.
