Voters' acceptance of Barisan Nasional will be tested in the coming Tanjung Piai by-election, says former Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein.
Hishammuddin, who is also Sembrong MP, said that to reporters during a walkabout in Kukup with MCA candidate Datuk Seri Dr Wee Jeck Seng, adding that if Barisan wins the Tanjung Piai parliamentary seat, the victory might be the beginning of Barisan's revival in Johor.
Hishammuddin also expressed relief and optimism that the Barisan candidate for the Tanjung Piai by-election was an MCA leader.
