Johor Customs Department confiscated RM17mil's worth of contraband in the first week of 2020, says its director Datuk Mohammad Hamidan Maryani.
He said in the first case of the year was on New Year's Day, six containers were found to contain quartz lumps, with one also having red sandalwood.
In the second case, 52,050 cartons of cigarettes were confiscated.
