Police have cordoned off multiple entry points into Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur ahead of the #Lawan protest.

A survey of the surrounding area found that roads leading to Dataran Merdeka that have been cordoned off include Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Sultan Hishammuddin, and an intersection from Jalan Kinabalu to Jalan Sultan Hishammuddin.

The roadblocks are preventing vehicles from entering Dataran Merdeka but police did not stop journalists from passing the roadblocks on foot.

Meanwhile, at Dataran Merdeka itself, barricades have been set up with police patrolling the area.
