14 people consisting of 10 adults and four children were injured, after several fireworks exploded on the ground nearby some spectators during the New Year celebration at the Pandamaran Sports Complex in Port Klang.
Those injured were immediately treated by a team of paramedics on site before they were sent to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah for treatment. It was reported that the 14 were allowed to return home upon receiving medical attention.
