Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali reiterated today that the Selangor State Government does not take the 20 sen charge imposed on plastic bags in the state.
He added that Selangor State Exco Member Elizabeth Wong has been asked to give an explanation as to where the money goes after allegations that shopkeepers are simply keeping the 20 sen charge.
Elizabeth mentioned last week that the proceeds from the #BebasPlastik campaign would go towards environmental and wildlife protection.
