After taking a year off, The YouTube Music Awards are back and paying tribute to the platform that’s responsible for many artist’s music Video success, and of course… our personal viewing pleasure.
What’s up guys welcome back to Clevver News… So this year, the award show has decided to switch it up a bit and feature a new format… we’re talkin’ ALL DIGITAL of course, but you guys, this time they’re breaking the typical award show rules and releasing multiple videos from our favorite stars! O.M.G.
YouTube will honor 50 artists who use their video content to really engage with their fans, ranging from Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift, to Beyonce, Drake, and Rihanna… And even some newcomers like Hozier and Sam Smith… For their contributions to the site over the past year. YouTube will premiere several video collaborations from among the 50 YouTube award-winning artists, which will be streamed online at 10 AM on March 23rd.
The winners, including Ariana Grande, Meghan Trainor, Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Big Sean, Sam Smith and SOO many more… Hail from 10 different countries and have shown some of the biggest growth over the past 6 months with their record-breaking numbers in views, subscribers, and fan engagement.
Fans will get a small taste of the new videos prior to the event… As the platform will post videos leading up to the award show on its YouTube Music Awards channel, for a behind-the-scenes sneak peek. So whether your favorite artists are topping the charts or uploading video content, the YouTube Music Video Awards GOT YO BACK.
And I don’t know about you guys, but I’m only hoping there will be some cool collaborations like hmmmm, Taylor Swift and Beyonce? UGH in the perfect world…
