31 August 2016 marks Malaysia's 59th Independence Day. Once again a grand parade in the Federal Capital of Kuala Lumpur attracted a huge crowd of local and foreign spectators long before it began early in the morning. The King ,the Prime Minister and many VVIPs were at the podium all smartly saluting to the long march pass. In these videos you can see a variety of groups taking part in this auspicious parade. Including K( and mounted police troupes , and even animated characters in the form of giant air balloons! See anyone you know in the parade or in the cramped crowd? Look closer , look again! Citizens of all races are clearly taking this public holiday to enjoy this annual fiesta of sorts ,minus the traffic!
