Rob and Chyna’s relationship went from hero to zero and back to hero real fast. If you’ve been Keeping up with the Kardashians, you know that everyone was shocked when it was revealed that the two were dating. I wish we could start this list on a high, but the way Rob and Chyna got together was a major downer. So first of all, Rob had not been seen in public for a while and was allegedly struggling with severe depression. On top of that, Blac Chyna was already connected to Kylie because of her son with Tyga. Rob’s tattooed arm tweet appeared on Chyna’s Instagram. Khloe then tweeted this tweet that had everyone wondering what is going on!
Luckily the family did get on board eventually until the BREAKING NEWS that Rob and Chyna were engaged. For the couple this was a high, but unfortunately the family found out via social media and were definitely offended by this low blow.
Now a baby is not the way to fix drama, but when Chyna’s pregnancy was announced shortly after Rob proposed, we knew that she was here to stay. Thanks to E!, we were able to get an inside look into their relationship on their hit show Rob & Chyna and their baby special. Although there was some drama regarding paternity, whether or not Rob was ready to be a father, and a couple of explosive fights, we feel this ultimately brought the family together. And when Dream Kardashian finally arrived, the world let out a collective Awwww. And who can forget the adorable mannequin challenge.
So they’re engaged, they have a beautiful baby girl, and then we’re back to DRAMA! December was an awful time for the couple who had one of their most explosive and public fights ever. All of the drama went down on Instagram of all places. In a long post, Chyna said, “Rob asked for all of this! Rob begged me to have Dream! He stressed me out my ENTIRE PREGNANCY!!! Accusing me of cheating, going crazy on me with massive text blast daily! being an absolute lunatic and then cover it up with gifts! I was verbally abused every other day. I was still there with nothing but high hopes for us!” That’s just a portion of the post, but it’s clear she was done.
Rob then responded with, "It's different when you have a kid with someone. And after reading Chyna's messages to her best friend she was going to drop me after a year. She didn't even make it to that. I am so broken. This is a woman I fought my entire family for. I was in love with this woman to the fullest and I was none of that to her. I thought this was going to be the best year of my life… had a beautiful baby Dream and haven't spent Christmas with family in years and I just can't believe she really hurt me this way.” All this happened before their baby special premiered, which caused the internet to explode with accusations of causing drama for ratings. Rob said, "This isn't for some ratings, this is my real life so please understand I'm just being open right now.” A couple of days later, Rob went on Snapchat to show that Chyna had taken Dream with her, cleared out Dream’s room and even the fridge. The internet went crazy at this point with memes and Rob tried to make light of the situation by posting some of his faves on social media.
Fast forward and a month later we can rejoice because they are back together and celebrating their one-year anniversary. Rob took to Instagram to post this sweet montage video of him and his boo with the caption, “1 year down lol woohoooooo happy anniversary babbbbbbiiiiiiiieeeeeee”
Well that’s the end of our list of 5 ups and downs of Rob and Blac Chyna’s relationship. This couple has been through a lot, but now we are counting down until they say I do.
