According to Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Azalina Othman, there have been 5,778 public servants fired from their jobs from 2010 until July 2016, constituting 18.5% of all government servants who were slapped with disciplinary action in the same period.
Azalina's written response to a question on the matter was read by Deputy Education Minister P Kamalnathan during Minister's Question Time in parliament earlier today.
