In a scary turn of events, Michael Clifford’s hair caught on fire during a 5 Seconds of Summer concert on Saturday!
While stepping out for an encore, Michael’s hair went up in flames after an accidental run in with some pyrotechnics.
While playing one of the encore songs of the show at Wembley Arena on Saturday, some pyrotechnics from the stage fell on top of Michael’s head and lit it on fire and it was terrifying
The last song of the show was cancelled and Michael was taken to the hospital for precautions but thankfully he is going to A-ok! He posted a photo of his head all bandaged up on Twitter saying QUOTE - “What the f**** up. sorry I couldnt finish the encore, but at least I look like two face. thanks for worrying every1 x.”
Fellow 5SOS member, Calum Hood expressed his worries for his friend on Facebook after the incident saying - “No one ever wants to see your best friend in the state I saw mike backstage. He’s a trooper and is ok.”
And Michael tweeted again yesterday to reassure fans tweeting – “Feeling loads better and my face is fine :) excited for the show tonight \m/”
