THE PITCHES ARE BACK, ya’ll and we are SO. FREAKING. EXCITED!
Yes, the trailer for Pitch Perfect 2 has FINALLY hit the Interwebs, and it is so beyond aca-awesome, we don’t even know where to start! Seeing the Barden Bellas back in action is making my heart so happy right now, but the only thing that can make me happier is reliving the best moments of the trailer with all of you guys!
So with that, let’s break down not one, not two, but SEVEN of the most aca-awesome moments from the Pitch Perfect 2 trailer. If only I had a pitch pipe….
First and foremost -- “Cups” is getting a 2.0 version, and it’s just as good as the OG one. Or dare we say – it’s even better? The other Bellas are involved with it this time around, so there’s just THAT much more to love about it.
CHILLS YOU GUYS. CHILLS.
And don’t think they’re getting all sappy on us, because just when you’re having all the feels, Anna Kendrick, aka Beca, makes a fart noise – snagging the second aca-awesome moment.
And with that, the trailer REALLY gets going, which brings us to our number three moment and it’s when we see, what we assume, is some underground a capella battles. We’re so ready for another Riff Off it’s not even funny, you guys. In the little sneak peek we see the Bellas, the Treblemakers, and yes, even Bumper makes a little cameo. Plus, there are some new international groups to get excited about too! –
And speaking of new groups, that leads us to number four when Fat Amy delivers out this new line I’ll be quoting until the end of time:
The trailer then busts into showing off the International a capella competition the Bellas will be taking part in, and EVERYTHING is bigger and better this time around by the looks of it. And that brings us to our number five moment, and hey, wouldn’t you know! Our friend Flula made his way into the trailer, and obviously delivers a very LOL-worthy moment when he says his friend speaks eight languages but LOSER isn’t one of them. BURNNN!
Moving along to number six, we have Fat Amy sliding down the stairs on a plastic shield? High-larious
And last but certainly not least, we get some classic Bumper and Fat Amy banter that is so LOL worthy we can’t even stand it.
