該會當晚邀請了甘肅省歌舞劇院，表演中國經典舞劇《絲路花雨》，並會連續舉辦3場給香港市民欣賞，以帶出「一帶一路」的概念。有關舞台劇亦曾於1979年中國國慶30周年中演出，以敦煌壁畫及絲綢之路作題材。
