Dr M's Raya open house on June 15 at Seri Perdana Putrajaya welcomed an unexpected crowd of over 80,000 well-wishers. The crowd started arriving as early as 7 am to greet Dr M and his special guests. It was clearly not just the food that they came for. It was to celebrate a victory of democracy in a long while. The visitors of all races and nationalities patiently queued up to wish Dr M. It was reported that Dr M shook up to 50,000 hands on this day. The event came to a resounding close at around 4pm.
