Adam Levine SLAMS MTV VMAs After Julia Michaels' Performance Gets Cut Short

If you haven’t heard of Julia MIchaels, it’s safe to say you know her work. At age 23, she’s already cowritten some of the biggest pop songs in the past 5 years. You heard her skill in Selena Gomez’s “hands to myself” and justin biebers “sorry”. Now she is a HUGE breakout artist, and we can only imagine how excited to she was to perform at the VMA’s last night, when suddenly, she was cut short before a commercial break.
And well.. The internet didn’t like that. Adam levine tweeted “Julia MIchaels gets cut off while she’s singing and Lorde gets to NOT sing her whole song,” Even adam levines wife Behati Prinsloo got in on the action.. She said “wow @vmas thanks for talking over then cutting to commercial half way through #juliamichaels performance.”... yikes. Seriously go on twitter and look for yourself, it’s kind of a blood bath out there. One fan wrote “did they seriously just cut julia michaels off. VMAS are cancelled. It’s pretty salty out there, so bring some water.
Maybe adam levine is just a little jealous because even though they’ve been nominated 5 times at the VMA’s, they’ve only won… one… 13 years ago…
