Adele continues to be our spirit animal, laughing at her own mistakes and owning her natural beauty. But her latest “kiss-hap” is what has us really loving her…
One lucky Adele fan who had flown all the way from Nigeria to Vancouver to watch her perform was invited by Adele herself to come onstage and introduce himself. The guy was just as giddy as any of us would be, barely containing his excitement as Adele asked him where he was from and how old he was. Right after he told her he was 21, she went in to give him a friendly kiss on the cheek, but the fan couldn’t resist the opportunity to get the real thing...
You’ve gotta give him credit for being so ballsy in front of thousands of people! Luckily Adele kept her incredible sense of humor intact after the kiss, joking to the crowd, “Thank god my man ain't here.” The fan not only got his kiss, but an epic selfie with Adele to remember the moment forever, so all in all we’d say it was worth the long trip from Africa.
And speaking of selfies, Adele recently posted a couple of pictures to her Instagram sans her signature eye-liner or any makeup at all. And, no surprise here, she looks absolutely radiant.
In one of the posts, Adele is looking very pensive off into the distance, very much in the same way that we do when we listen to pretty much any one of her heartfelt ballads. In a follow-up makeup free post, Adele sports a much more silly look on her face as she wears a security guard button-up top.
We’re sooo not used to seeing Adele without her signature 60s style makeup, but she looks so incredible no matter what, and we’re guessing it’s all the inner beauty and that fantastic sense of humor shining through.
