Fireman Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim has been laid to rest at the As-Saadah Mosque Muslim Cemetery in Kampung Tebengau, Kuala Kedah on Tuesday afternoon.
Family members, relatives and friends paid their last respects to Adib at the funeral.
Adib was given a posthumous promotion, which would mean a higher pension and help lighten the financial burden for his family.
