Police have reclassified the attack on Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim as murder.
This follows Adib's passing on Monday night, having succumbed to injuries suffered from the beating he received while on duty during the riots near the Seafield temple on Nov 26.
Police had arrested four suspects who were believed to have attacked Adib.
They are currently out on bail.
