Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said that leave for all police personnel has been frozen with immediate effect in view of the coming general election.
This is to ensure that the police is at maximum readiness for the elections. He said this after his working visit to the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters on Friday.
