AirAsia X has placed a firm order of 30 Airbus A321XLRs and 12 additional A330-900neo aircraft, making the total from 66 to 78.
Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury and AirAsia X chairman Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz signed the deal on Friday, and it was witnessed by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
