In case you missed the memo, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got engaged over the summer after dating for a few months but from the looks of things, the duo isn’t planning on a long engagement because Priyanka had her bridal shower over days ago at the Tiffany’s store in New York City and we have the receipts to prove it.
Priyanka was in full glam mode with all her girls getting ready for the shower as shown by this sosh meeds - you can see the full crew with a caption that read “my girls are in town! #Anyreasontoparty #preweddingcelebrations”
The actual shower went down like I said at Tiffany and Co – which is a special place for the couple because Nick famously shut down the whole store to buy Priyanka’s ring. The gorgeous event was hosted by two of the brides nearest and dearest and some famous faces including Kelly Ripa and Lupita Nyong’o were in attendance.
Of course Priyanka looked gorgeous in a white Marchesa gown . She revealed to People Magazine that she’d always dreamt of having Tiffany’s involved saying about her ring: “I think we had a conversation about it when we were dating and I’ve always known it had to be Tiffany. First, it was Breakfast at Tiffany’s that did it for every girl in the world and then, of course, Sweet Home Alabama came and put a stamp on it that it has to be Tiffany! Since I was a little girl, it was just something that was stuck in my head and I may have said that and I guess he remembered.
Priyanka and Nick already celebrated with her family and friends in India and with this shower over the weekend, it seems like the wedding is right around the corner. So what do we think – will the nuptuals go down this year? And will Nick tie the knot before his big bro Joe Jonas who’s engaged to Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner.
