DAP wants police to investigate Perikatan Nasional chief Muhyiddin Yassin over a speech on Sunday that allegedly touched on 3R (race, religion, royalty) issues.
Bukit Bendera MP Syerleena Abdul Rashid lodged a report on Monday urging police to investigate Muhyiddin under the Sedition Act and Section 505 of the Penal Code for statements conducive to public mischief.
This was over Muhyiddin speech at a ceramah in Kapar, Selangor on Sunday, where he claimed that the government's decision to drop an appeal on Ireland's case showed that the Anwar Ibrahim administration agreed with the court that Christians can use the word “Allah”.
