Prominent lawyer Ambiga Sreenevasan hit out at the government for 'boasting' about what GST has done and how much they had collected.
In a forum on Saturday night she said it wasn't some brilliant economic plan and that the money collected from GST comes from the people and wasn't from resources or commercial ventures.
Ambiga was among four panellists that included social activist Marina Mahathir, law lecturer Azmi Sharom and incumbent Sungai Siput lawmaker D Jeyakumar who spoke about what it truly means to be a patriot at a forum organised by the Jalur Gemilang movement.
