Selangor caretaker menteri besar Amirudin Shari has dismissed the possibility of the water tariff in the Klang Valley going up soon.
"Water tariff is a policy issue that needs the decision and approval from the state government.
"To date, the state government has not made any decision to hike up the water tariff for Selangor," Amirudin said in a statement yesterday.
He was responding to the call by Klang Valley water service operator Air Selangor earlier today, for the government to review water tariffs as soon as possible.
