Amy Schumer Calls Out Young Critic After Sexist Joke

Sometimes it’s just best to leave the jokes to the comedians and this young film critic learned that the hard way when Amy Schumer publicly called him out after he made a sexist joke about meeting her.
17-year-old Jackson Murphy learned a cold hard lesson about sexism on Monday morning after he basically shamed the popular comedian’s sex life on Twitter. In the now deleted tweet, Jackson shared a photo of himself and Amy on the Critics’ Choice Awards carpet and wrote, “Spent the night with @amyschumer. Certainly not the first guy to write that.” Sure, we can take into account that Jackson’s tweet was a jab at Amy’s ‘Tranwreck’ persona, but it still wasn’t cool at all.
Once Amy got the message, she responded to Jackson’s tweet and said, “I get it. Cause I’m a whore? Glad I took a photo with you. Hi to your dad.” Eventually the teen gave Amy a sincere apology and the comedian accepted his apology by saying, “that’s really okay honey. I just remember thinking you and your dad were sweet and it was a bummer to read that.” Kudos to Amy for keeping her cool and not blowing the whole thing out of proportion. I think it’s safe to say that Jackson will be thinking twice about everything he posts on social media now.
