Hotels in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland are giving their restaurants a revamp so that they are dining destinations in their own right. We check out Trivet in the JW Marriott Hotel in the CBD and experience Executive Chef Wallace Mua's take on New Zealand cuisine. His menu highlights and celebrates Auckland's diverse community- its multiculural-ness, its people. Featuring influences from Korea, China, Europe, the Pacific and South East Asia- there is something on Trivet's menu that will appeal to everyone.

What we ate and where we ate it:

Trivet at JW Marriott Auckland, 22/26 Albert Street, Auckland Central, Auckland 1010. Lunch 12pm-3pm daily. Dinner 5pm until late daily.
