People of diverse religions gathered at the Iftar Ramadhan - Wesak Open House 2019 on Saturday to celebrate Wesak Day as well to break fast together with Muslims.
The event, jointly oraganised by Buddhist Maha Vihara (BMV), Malaysian Buddhist Association (MBA), Buddhist Missionary Society Malaysia (BMSM), Department of National Unity and Integration (PERPADUAN), and Committee for the Promotion of Inter Religious Understanding and Harmony among Adherents (JKMPKA), aimed to promote mutual understanding and harmony amongst devotees of various religions.
