Annuar: DAP responsible for racial politics in Malaysia

UMNO Information Chief Annuar Musa says that history needs to be revisited to understand the DAP and how racial politics were born. As far as he is concerned, the DAP is responsible for creating racial politics as it only existed after the formation of the party.
He claims that when the DAP emerged as a splinter of the Singaporean Peoples' Action Party (PAP), they started to politicise race-based issues to the point of causing tensions between races.
Annuar stated that his party UMNO was formed almost 20 years before the birth of the DAP, claiming that the racial communities of Malaysia were harmonious back then.
