There is no need for Barisan Nasional to rush to hold elections, despite the opposition being in disarray at the moment said Umno information chief Annuar Musa.
In a report in Berita Harian he was quoted as saying that BN should instead give priority to make sure that all the problems faced by the people are addressed and resolved as soon as possible.
He said that so long as the opposition relationship is based on a 'marriage of convenience' and they existed because of a common enemy and not for ideology, there was no need to worry as they will not be able to offer an ideal alternative for the people.
