PKR president Anwar Ibrahim has pledged support for Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad with regard to the latter locking horns with the Johor palace.
Anwar also said the issue was not personal.
"The issue is not personal. The prime minister wants to ensure the constitutional spirit is observed and I think we are with him on that,” he told reporters today.
Anwar was speaking in Sandakan after a campaign walkabout with Vivian Wong, the DAP candidate for this Saturday's by-election.
Yesterday, Mahathir described Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim as “stupid” and a “little boy.”
Anwar also said the issue was not personal.
