Malaysia has commended Japan’s stand for humanitarian assistance to be allowed into Gaza, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister said Malaysia also appreciated Japan’s position on the illegal settlement by Israel into Palestine and the need for peace in the region.

Anwar said this in a joint statement following a meeting with Kishida at Seri Perdana, today.
